研究方向及主要发现:

树突状细胞(dendritic cells, DC)细胞是抗原功能最强的抗原递呈细胞,在免疫应答的过程中发挥着桥梁作用。 郭振红教授主要围绕着DC的功能调控,从免疫微环境、膜表面分子和衰老等多种因素对DC的功能影响进行了深入探索, 主要发现:I)免疫微环境可以促进成熟DC的增殖及分化,提出了成熟DC并非是终末细胞的创新观点,并进一步发现在不同的实质性脏器中DC的功能受到微环境的调控; II)DC表面膜分子通过不同的途径调节DC功能: 其中,经典的凋亡诱导信号Fas系统在DC具有非凋亡效应,反而可以促进DC活化与成熟; SiglecG分子调节DC的交叉提呈功能,为DC在胞内菌感染、病毒、肿瘤等的治疗中更好发挥功能提供了理论基础;III)衰老影响DC的功能,造成无法充分活化NK细胞从而影响肿瘤细胞的清除。 进一步将深入探究DC在不同疾病发生发展中的效应,为疾病的诊断、治疗提供理论基础。
